It’s January, which means we've hit the midway point in the 2018-2019 television season. Some things have been canceled already – i.e., "Luke Cage" and "Good Behavior" – and some shows turned out to be unexpected treats – including "Kidding" on Showtime and Netflix's "The Haunting of Hill House."

 

Meanwhile, new offerings such as "True Detective" season three and "Deadly Class" on SyFy are catching our eye.
